Common Refrigerator Problems

Your fridge is the most used appliance in your home… because it is running 24/7. This is a list of common problems/solutions you can find useful if your refrigerator is giving you trouble.

  1. Refrigerator is Not Working at All
Make sure that the refrigerator is connected properly to the socket. If it is, check the circuit breaker or fuse.

Oven temperature calibration

First, you need to determine if your range temperature really is accurate or not. Please do so with an oven thermometer and take 3 readings at 15 minutes intervals .

To calibrate, you will have to play with the knobs for older models. Most ranges have the calibration adjustment on the underside of the knob itself. You have to loosen up the dial plate and move it one way or the other so the temperature will change once the dial once installed. To adjust the knob setting, use two hands and, from the back of the oven knob, pull the knob off with a firm grip. Now, once off, look at the back of the knob. There are typically 2 screws that hold the face of the knob, the degree markings, in place. Have a look to see where the gage on the back currently points, which might be the center.
