When Should I Clean My Oven
Cooking in a clean kitchen is by far more appealing. If everything is misplaced, you can’t find anything. If your oven is dirty, you won’t be interested in putting your food in there. Same applies to the stove, if there’s spills old food built-ups on it, you can feel discouraged to clean on it.

Oven temperature calibration

To calibrate, you will have to play with the knobs for older models. Most ranges have the calibration adjustment on the underside of the knob itself. You have to loosen up the dial plate and move it one way or the other so the temperature will change once the dial once installed. To adjust the knob setting, use two hands and, from the back of the oven knob, pull the knob off with a firm grip. Now, once off, look at the back of the knob. There are typically 2 screws that hold the face of the knob, the degree markings, in place. Have a look to see where the gage on the back currently points, which might be the center.
